Bogdanovic is finally hitting 3's, this could go to game 7 now.

That Giannis knee injury looked nasty in the replay.

Yikes...according to reports its a hyperextended knee. That was the kind of injury that kept Embiid out for about 3 weeks. Giannis is probably out the entire playoffs with Middleton and Jrue having to carry the team. This can easily go 7 games. If Bucks lose the series, no doubt Bud gets fired.

An Atlanta Hawks v.s. Phoenix Suns finals would be incredible.
The two most unlikely teams.
But i also like the Hawks and Trae Young. Always believed in him even when people thought he was just able to pad his stats on a bad team. You can tell the guy has that “all in” instinct he just needed a bit of help!

Adam Silver is going to have a meltdown...I'm sure he was hoping for the "Battle of LA" WCF and an LA team in the finals.
Hawks vs. Suns would be fun to watch....never would have expected it at the start of the playoffs. Thought the Nets would cruise through the finals to a championship.

It just seems so much more competitive this way…
Rather then 2 LA’s “ohhh we got 2 mega stars and crush you!!!!”
And Brooklyn Nets with 3 friggin hot shots. Although always having rotating injuries…
But I hope Chris Paul wins a championship. He gives it his all every year. Never really played for a mega team.

Geez what happened tonight.
I check box score and see Atlanta blew out the Bucks without Trae.
I see Giannis got hurt, but still played 24 minutes and Hawks had a 13 point lead at halftime.
Was it Hawks defense or Bucks simply not hitting shots?

Basically a combination of great defense throughout the game and all roles players stepping up, especially Bogdanovic hitting 3s and Lou's leadership.
Bucks were building momentum in the 3rd with Giannis getting hot but when he went down it completely shook up the Bucks and they had to adjust without him mid-game. It was basically over and seemed like they just gave up.

Turns out there was no ligament damage. That's incredible given how much his knee bent in the wrong direction.
This is great for his long term status as in he's likely not going to miss any games next season... and maybe even play in the Olympics if Greece wins out (3 wins in a row, unlikely). But his status for the playoffs is a complete mystery. There's no time table for his return. Game 5 tomorrow at least seems highly unlikely.

He's going to want to play tomorrow and the Bucks need to protect him from himself, even if it means blowing their 1 rare chance to get to the finals, they have made a huge future investment in him.

Healthiest team will win this year, likely the Suns.

Knock on wood.

The Suns are the only remaining team that still have their star player without a serious injury and able to play.

Wouldn't expect to see him before game 4 of the finals if the Bucks now happen to advance. Anyone recall another time when so many teams stars went down in the playoffs?

When I saw Boogie steal the ball from CP3 and then outrace him for a layup in the last game I thought covid really changed him. But CP3's back and he just stabbed the Clips in the heart.
Entertainment-wise I'd like to see Hawks-Suns in the finals.
